Toy Show Weekend and YouTube Week!
about 1 year ago – Mon, Mar 06, 2023 at 03:52:46 PM

We had a great weekend at the New England Toy and Record Show in Dover NH this past weekend. People braved the snow on Saturday and we drew a nice crowd for the Almighty Legends. People even signed up for the campaign at the show. Met some incredible people, fellow artists, and a few celebrities. Got to be a guest on the Geek Out Show last night and earned my Geek Badge. Definitely check them out!

We also have two more shows lined up this week, tonight we’ll be sitting down with the Toy Father on Toy Talk around 8:45 PM EST, then on Wednesday we’ll be sitting down with Unboxing Art.

The prototypes are making their tour across the country and have arrived back on the East Coast; Realm_of_toys89 has Azrael and then he’s off to D-Amazing, for a review and possibly some photos as well.

Feel free to pm me any other shows or hosts you think would like to have us on as a guest to share the Kickstarter and get us to that funding goal and beyond. Thank you all for your hard work and support!

Incredible start! We're well on our way to meeting our goal.

Thank you all so much! We have come very far in such a little amount of time. We currently stand at 43% of funding with over a month to go. We are working very hard on getting the word out there about this project and getting us to that initial funding goal. We love reading all the comments and suggestions from our backers and fans. That positive and constructive feedback is really appreciated. We are taking all of the comments to heart. We are adjusting where we can with a LIVE KICKSTARTER. As some of you may know there are some adjustments that simply can not be made during a KICKSTARTER. Having said that…

Update on Stretch Goals - We were able to negotiate with our manufacturing facility and reduced the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) on the Wings and Blank figures. This has a tremendous effect on shrinking the amount needed between stretch goals. You will see these changes now reflected in the KICKSTARTER..

Being transparent is extremely important to us in our personal and professional interactions. We wanted to take this opportunity to explain why it costs more than other campaigns to unlock the stretch goals.

Tooling costs cover the steel molds that go into creating the figures. We have a deluxe figure that features over 34 points of articulation, wings, extra heads, hands, removable armor, soft goods, weapons, packaging, and bases. We have to also factor in the cost of Kickstarter fees, fulfillment, and overseas shipping. The costs add up. You can see that reflected in the amounts for the stretch goals.

We have a few challenges that other ongoing or recent KICKSTARTER campaigns do not face. We do not have any Angel investors, deep pockets, or pre-existing relationships with factories before this endeavor. Essentially, we are not in a position that other creators may be in. From funding the tooling out of pocket or having reduced production costs, we will have to pay for the tooling and a production manager with the KICKSTARTER funding. The most prominent costs for a small independent toy company are tooling costs and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ).

We have some pretty amazing figures to offer you at a deeply discounted price which is one of the advantages of supporting a Kickstarter campaign. What crowdfunding was originally meant for, is a Direct to Consumer product and the buyer is an actual investor in the company’s success.

Thank you for keeping the faith and supporting us as we enter into the next few weeks. We are confident we will start unlocking some pretty amazing stretch goals once the initial funding goal is met. We do have some shows coming up this weekend and into next week including:

We also have the Azrael prototype on the way to get some more amazing photos taken, this time by Realm of Toys 89. Keep us posted on anyone else you think might like to talk about the line, getting the word out, and raising the funds we need.

Thank you again for the tremendous support and sharing the love for the campaign.

Saturday Morning Update

Thank you all again for keeping our campaign moving in the right direction! It's been a very educational few days learning from others and going through the comments and suggestions. All are awesome to see as it means we are engaging people to share their thoughts. We are meeting with several distributors worldwide to help field the international shipping option and should have something to report on later next week. Speaking of next week, we are going to be set up at New England Toy and Record Show next weekend, March 4/5 in Dover, NH. They do an amazing show and this is their first time doing a Mega Show that will be two days long. Hopefully, we'll see some of you there.

The prototype is currently in the hands of Figure Kingdom who is creating some amazing shots of Azrael to share on Instagram.  We also have some amazing art that will be available as T-Shirts and posters, drawn by Alfred The Geek and TheScruffyRonin

Now for a sneak preview at one of the exclusive heads being created for the All In Packages.  This was sculpted by Tristen Castillo of Immortal Collections. Here is the Seraphim head. Hope you all like it and thank you again for you support with Almighty Legends.

Quick Weekend Update
about 1 year ago – Fri, Feb 24, 2023 at 09:46:58 AM

Hey Everyone! Wow, just wow! You all are amazing and we’re so grateful for the generous spirit you’ve all shared with this project so far. After launching on Wednesday we are now over 20% of the initial goal which I think is pretty incredible, considering that 3 weeks ago we had 84 followers on Instagram and 24 people signed up for our newsletter. We are now close to 1000 followers and growing. Thank you all for truly believing in this project to create something legendary. We know it's going to be a tough climb to the finish to get everything unlocked within the campaign, but we're not going to give up or give in and we have time, it's only day three. We may be the underdog in the current three campaigns that are running, but we can do this! The fact is that we all want this campaign to succeed and in order to do that we need to dig deep and keep sharing the message. Thank you all again!
