Almighty Legends Kickstarter Update - Zolocon and Year of the Horse
about 1 month ago

Hello everyone,
I want to share an important update with you. Some of it is tough news, but we are continuing to make real progress.
Packaging Update
Sample packaging was shipped last week. Due to weather delays, I will not have the samples in hand until Friday. However, I did leave one sample with Savage Crucible, and they will be showing it off at Zolocon this weekend.
Unfortunately, I will not be attending Zolocon this year, but I am grateful the packaging will still be seen and shared.
If you are attending Zolocon and visit the Savage Crucible booth, snap a picture of the new packaging and tag our Instagram @almightylegends along with #almightylegends.
We will randomly select one person to win an Almighty Legends poster and an unpainted head cast.
I would love to see the photos coming in from the show.
Factory & Production Status
I was able to speak with the factory before they went on break. Unfortunately, we did miss our original shipping window.
That said, production is currently about 84% complete. When the factory returns in March, work will ramp up quickly, and we will push toward final completion and shipment.
We are closer than we have ever been.
Special Collaboration
I am honored to share that we are now working with Stephen Ward, a master miniature painter and featured artist in ToyCollectr Magazine.
He has been taking sample prints and turning them into something truly legendary. Seeing Almighty Legends brought to life through his skill has been truly legendary
Upcoming Appearance
My next show will be The Great American Toy Show in Taunton, MA, on Saturday, March 21st. If you are in the area, I would love to see you there and share updates in person.
I know delays are frustrating. I feel that weight with you. But we are moving forward and will have these figures in hand within the next few months! The line is progressing. Almighty Legends is becoming everything we set out to build.
Thank you for your patience, your belief, and your continued support.
More updates soon.

Happy First Week of Advent

Happy First Week of Advent!
Hello everyone,
As we enter this season of hope and anticipation, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your patience, support, and belief in this project. Your encouragement makes all the difference as we work to bring these figures to life.
Factory Progress
Production is moving forward smoothly. Bodies, armor, and weapons are coming out beautifully, and the overall quality continues to improve.
This week, we received a new test shot of the wings, and it shows significant improvement. Wings of this complexity are unique and challenging, and the factory is committed to making them as perfect as possible. While there may still be refinements needed, each iteration brings us closer to the quality and finish we want to deliver. Our focus remains quality over speed, because these wings are unlike anything else on the market and deserve the care they require.
Armored Sets for Backers
For those waiting for an update on the armored sets, they are still planned! Once all molds are approved, we will produce a small run exclusively for Kickstarter backers. These sets will move forward after the main figure tooling is finalized.
Blank Figures / Stretch Goal Update
Some of you have asked about the blank figures from the stretch goal. Since that stretch goal was not funded, and because we had to switch to new bodies (which are the property of Harvinger Studios), we cannot produce these blank figures without their permission. We want to be transparent so everyone understands this is a matter of production and intellectual property, not a change in our vision or commitment to backers.
Addressing Questions & Criticism
I want to address the elephant in the room. There have been voices from outside the project who attempt to undermine progress to appear more influential. From day one, I have been transparent: this is my first major toy production. I never claimed to be a production expert, and I have always said that openly.
Halfway through the project, we made the decision to upgrade the line with new body styles, improved articulation, and a factory change; all to create a better final product. First-time creators naturally have learning curves, and every change we’ve made was to deliver figures worthy of your support.
The figures are improving every step of the way, the factory is fully invested in making them the best they can be, and your support shows that this effort is meaningful. The wings remain a challenging and unique piece, and while we continue to refine them, each iteration moves us closer to the level of quality we all expect.
What’s Next
Once the wings meet our standards, full production will continue. Gabriel will also come with two additional swords, as promised. Every figure component is carefully crafted with the goal of exceeding expectations.
Thank you again for your patience, trust, and support. Advent reminds us that waiting can be meaningful, it’s the preparation that makes fulfillment truly satisfying.

Factory Update + A Note on Progress
– Tue, Sep 16, 2025 at 06:49:48 PM
Hi everyone,
The factory contacted me last week and has reported steady progress, though some adjustments are taking longer than expected. The wings continue to be the most challenging part. The latest sample showed improvements, but certain areas of the wing were not fitting together properly and require further modification. Adjustments are being made to the POM parts (a strong plastic used for moving joints) to improve both assembly and function. The heads and armor were also reviewed. These parts look better but will require more fine-tuning to reduce flash. One mold is delayed as a result, but the good news is that all parts have now been finalized and are in the tooling process.
We know some backers are frustrated with delays, and we want to be upfront. Making quality toys takes time, especially when creating wings that haven’t been done before. Every adjustment is tested, refined, and tested again until it works properly. That process can take extra rounds, but it’s the only way to deliver a figure that meets the standard we all want.
Another exciting note: our figures will share a body mold with Savage Crucible, making them interchangeable and giving collectors even more display and customization options.
Thank you for your patience and support as the factory works through these final adjustments. We’re confident the wait will be worth it.
Event News: Toytally Rad Creations will be at the Titans Toy Expo in Nashville, Tennessee, October 25–26. We’d love to meet some of you there!
More updates soon!

🎆 Happy 4th of July from Almighty Legends! 🇺🇸
We hope you're enjoying a safe and joyful Independence Day weekend! As we celebrate freedom and fireworks, we also wanted to give you a quick update on production — and share some exciting news about our upcoming Mini Comic!
📖 Mini Comic is Complete!
We’re thrilled to announce that the Almighty Legends mini-comic is officially finished! We’ve printed a limited run of just 100 copies, and they’ll be making their debut at the upcoming Great American Toy Show in Taunton, MA on July 19th. If you're attending, be sure to stop by and grab one — once they're gone, they're gone!
🔧 Mold & Production Progress
We’re still on track for a Fall 2025 shipping date for backers. The last mold needed for the project is for the armor accessory kit, which includes the forearms, shin guards, and feet. These are not yet in production, but we are working closely with the factory to get them started as soon as possible.
The JoeFest display figures used mostly final production molds, except for these final parts.
🪽 Wing Mold Revisions In Progress
The wing tooling requires major adjustments to ensure proper functionality. We’re actively fine-tuning 16 points of articulation, finding the perfect balance between tension and durability. Too tight and they risk damage; too loose and they won’t hold their position.
We expect 1–2 more rounds of updates to dial it in — progress is being made, and we're optimistic about the next test.
⚙️ Assembly & Fit Testing
Assembly trials are underway to make sure all parts come together smoothly and reliably. We’re focused on ensuring long-term quality so these figures not only look great, but perform great out of the box.
🙏 Thank You
Thanks again for your continued support and patience. Every round of revision brings us closer to delivering something truly special. We’ll be back soon with more behind-the-scenes updates as we move into final production!
Stay safe, stay toytally rad, – Dacre & the Almighty Legends Team
